I know, as I have been there myself.
I spent years trying to learn Spanish from language learning apps.
It didn’t work.
Then, I tried to go to classes using traditional methodology.
That didn’t work either.
I’m a software engineer, so I am a very logical-minded person. I wanted to understand how do humans acquire language. How did we learn our native language? What is so different about that than learning a second language?
As it turns out, not much at all.
So why is it that language learning apps insist on teaching it so differently?
This is why we created Palteca (after years of finally speaking Spanish!).
